Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 Slim Bundle

If you haven’t upgraded to one of those fancy new Xbox Slim’s yet, and you’re a fan of the Halo series, then you may want to hold off until September 14.

Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 bundle was announced today at Comic-con. The Reach LE bundle includes a Xbox Slim finished in silver, two matching Halo: Reach controllers (see below), a wireless headset, a token to download an episode of Halo: Legends, limited edition elite armor and a copy of the game. As an added touch, the limited edition console also features custom sound effects from the Halo universe.

The console has a special Halo-themed finish, and will retail for $400 - $100 more than the standard version of the Xbox 360. The limited edition 360 will have the same 250GB hard drive as the current edition of the console, which is a step above the just-announced 4GB hard drive-less console which will be bundled with the Kinect system.

Halo: Reach Controller

If you already got yourself a slim Xbox, or just don’t want a whole new console, then maybe a Halo: Reach-themed Xbox controller is your thing? The controller, which will be available early August, features an etched-style design and will set you back $59.99. You’ll also get a Xbox Live token for an animated Covenant Banshee avatar item. Details can be found on Xbox’s official website. The wireless headset will also be available early August for $49.99.

Microsoft are saying that these accessories are both “being produced in limited quantities” and would like you to know that they are available for pre-order now.
